Great Teamwork!

Our second graders will be taking a FREE field trip to Hueytown City Hall to learn about and hopefully see government in action. We are hoping to connect with a couple of our elected officials and have them visit our  classrooms.

In addition to City Hall, we plan to visit a local grocery store and restaurant to learn about the the processing and distribution of goods and services.  To top it off, our trip includes stopping by Dairy Queen for a frozen treat with a cherry on top!

This trip is being made possible through a $1,000.00 Jenice Riley Scholarship provided by the Alabama Humanities Foundation.
